Ha ha! Don't they all have flaws? I heard a quote from an author that can also apply to art. I don't remember it exactly, but it basically said that what ever we write (draw) we are going to hate later because we will see the flaws, because every time we do, we get better, so the old stuff, even things we just finished will always be worse than what we do next.
This is an interesting picture, loots of small details, really great shadowing, and really great work with the fur. But I have to question, stars are truly huge compared to most things, and if this dragon is making a star that fits between it's hands, then how big is this dragon? (Wouldn't be hard to see it floating around in the sky)
I don't really know, he's just probably spiritual being so his presence and size doesn't matter. It can be an astral energy shaped in a size of dragon or some kind of ghost... I haven't any other explanation here XD
Kojarzy mi się ze Smokiem Szczęścia z "Niekończącej się historii" i trochę z grafikami Schima Schimmela (pod względem techniki i tematu, choć on malował zwyczajne zwierzaki ) Mogłabym się patrzeć na niego godzinami...!
Oh, why hadn't I commented on this before? I love the pose of the dragon and his friendly face The picture itself looks so dreamy as if I could follow the dragon and fly trough space. Great detail on the fur^^
